Fault phenomenon: Light receiving alarm for near end machine


Fault analysis:            

1. optical cables are broken            

2. fiber attenuation increases           

3. Attenuation of optical module is big         

4. Threshold setting


Troubleshooting:            

1. connect the light source and the light power meter at the two ends of the optical cable, so as to observe whether the cable is broken. If it is broken, replace it immediately.            

2. connect the light source and the light power meter at the two ends of the pigtail, so as to observe whether the decline is big.  If the attenuation is too large, make immediate replacement and see whether pigtail matches. The distal pigtail is sharp mouth connecting equipment, of which the flat end connects terminal box; If the tail does not match, the luminous attenuation will have a difference of 5dB.            

3. Observe indicator lamp status of remote machine transmitter (PDALM) on site, test the optical luminescence power of remote machine, and determine whether the optical module of remote machine has failure;             

4. The receiving optical power of level transmitter should be more than -10dBm, and the luminescence should be greater than 1dBm.            

5. Observe the threshold value of light receiving power, which is generally -10.
